On Sunday December 10th 2023, SS Robin, the only complete Victorian steam ship in existence, has been moved from the Royal Docks to Trinity Buoy Wharf.

The ship has joined the rest of the collection of Heritage Vessels at Trinity Buoy Wharf, which together make up a free to enjoy, open air museum that helps to illustrate the maritime history of London’s trading river Thames.

SS Robin now rides proudly elevated 3m above the River Lea on its purpose-built pontoon, safely protected for the long future. Over the next few months practical access to the ship will be created so that SS Robin can be toured, and the archive material examined.
