Events opportunities

SS Robin and the Pontoon on which she sits are one of London’s undiscovered venues, just waiting to be used in exciting and imaginative ways.

The ship’s original cargo hold is full of character, with period beams, girders and iron rivets creating a nautical and raw industrial feeling, unique to London. Its long, dark and cavernous interior is ideal for light, projection and art installations regardless of daylight conditions outside. Removing the cargo hatch covers allows the interior to be flooded with natural light.

The Pontoon with its huge central room and satellite cabins around it is completely different again, being of modern clean construction and finish, all with straight angles and lines. Small portholes provide atmospheric light to some cabins, whilst the central space is essentially dark all the time, making it again ideally suited to art installations, sound and light projections.

The vast spaces make theater, film and stand up shows a possibility as a venue for a public gathering.
