What are they looking for?
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy meeting and talking to people of all ages. You will be interested in helping us to accurately and informatively promote this unique vessel and engage the local community and visitors to the area. You will have the opportunity to meet and work alongside new people as part of a small friendly team at one of London's most important maritime heritage sites. We are looking for someone who can be flexible in their commitment, to facilitate attendance at events. Ideally we hope that volunteers would stay for a minimum of three months.
How will you benefit?
Training will be given to enable you to carry out your role.
You will have the opportunity to meet and socialise with new people and learn about this fascinating icon of our maritime history.
There may be future opportunities for volunteer posts as tour guide aboard the vessel when we open to the public.
