The SS Robin and the project to open the vessel to the public is now under new management.
This exciting project is now being lead by David Green, who has joined the Trust as Project Director and Chief Executive. David brings with him almost twenty years of experience of working within the heritage sector, latterly with The National Trust, but also with Nottingham City Council, The Greenwich Foundation for the Old Royal Naval College and The Natural History Museum.
The post of Project Director is now supported by the role of Engagement Manager, a post that will support The Trust's volunteer programme, education work and visitor services initiatives. Clare Wincza has been appointed to this post, bringing significant practical experience of maritime heritage and hands-on skills of maritime conservation, having previously worked with the Cirdan Sailing trust, a role that included maintaining historic vessels and teaching diverse groups of people to get out on the water.
